Creative Play celebrates one year with a fun fair

Ajax’s newest indoor play centre is a blast. After nearly one year in business, Creative Play is proud to offer a 5,600 sq.ft. play centre which includes a 300 sq. ft. castle and children’s climber; Imagination and creative inspired toys and games for children ages six months to 10 years; Toddler and baby play centre with an age appropriate climber and toys and a Crafts Corner complete with daily painting, chalk or play-dough activities. And to top it off, they offer healthy options for in-house parties!

Owners Christine and Jan opened Creative Play last year because there were no other indoor playgrounds in Ajax. With Christine having small children of her own, they wanted to create an environment where the community could come together to enjoy each other and be creative. “Creativity is very important to us. We wanted to offer an environment where children could explore their creativity. There are no other indoor playgrounds anywhere, that I have seen, that offer a place for children to explore their creativity.”
Creative Play’s home-like setting includes large comfortable couches and chairs and the latest magazines for your enjoyment. A 500 sq. ft. breastfeeding and rest area is discrete yet visible for moms to supervise their children easily. And moms can enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea.
Creative Play specializes in creating unique and interactive birthday party experiences. With several unique party themes to choose from and fresh healthier party food options, you are sure to have a memorable birthday party not only for your child but for your guests as well. Creative Play also offers an outstanding healthier option for catering its parties. “We really wanted to offer a healthier option. You can get a pizza anywhere. All of our party foods are prepared fresh on-site. Our make-your-own pizza is our most popular party menu item. With make-your-own pizza we give each child a small ball of freshly prepared pizza dough. They roll it out with mini rollers and then apply their own toppings from our pizza bar. We then bake it for them. The kids really love it!”
Creative Play currently offers three different party packages; Super (Small or Large), Do It Yourself and Deluxe. The deluxe themes include a Princess & Knights, Safari, Luau or Teddy Bears Picnic.
