SK8 Camp: Just the thing for the Summer Blahs

Looking for something different for your child to do this summer? City of Pickering’s Skateboard Camp is just the thing!

City of Pickering is offering a NEW Youth Skateboard Camp for participants 10 to 14 years of age. The camp will run daily from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for two sessions: Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14 and Monday, August 24 – Friday, August 28. Camp will be held at Pickering Recreation Complex’s Diana Princess of Wales, Skate Park.

Participants will skateboard and learn various skills each morning. They will participate in active games and activities in the afternoon, including swimming, and indoor soccer.

Safety is important so helmets are mandatory. Camp includes a day trip to another skate park, so campers can test their skills at a different location!
