City of Pickering Summer Fun

City of Pickering is launching their 2010 summer line up. Summer activities include, Summer Experience, Youth Leadership Program, Recreational Sport Clinics, and Free Teen Programs and Events, running every week day.

SUMMER EXPERIENCE

SPORTS CAMP (ages 11-14)
Refine your skills, learn some new moves and put your game to the test. Swimming daily, and off site trips will take place
Dates: July 5-9

ARTS CAMP (ages 11-14)
Express your artistic creativity with the many art projects taking place throughout the week. Get a chance to learn new forms of art, through dance, music and visual. Swimming daily, and off site trips will take place
Dates: July 12-16
Dates: July 26-30

SKATE CAMP (ages 10-14)
For beginner skateboarders or those who want to brush up on their skills. Skateboard every morning, swim daily and more.
Dates: August 9-13
Dates: August 23-27


YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (ages 13-14)
Learn the skills and get motivated - Goal Setting, Communication, Leadership, Healthy Living, Resume, Job Search and Interviews, Volunteering.
