Clippopotamus is a family business in every sense of the word. Ryan and Alexandria Durrell run the company together: While on mat leave, Alexandria sought out a new creative outlet and started making hair clips for her hair-privileged daughter.

Clippopotamus was born and went online for sales starting in February of 2008. Within just a few short weeks, Clippo products were being stocked in some of Canada's finest kids' stores and chains.

Clippo is now far more than just a hair clip company. They've got products for boys and girls... in addition to hair clips, they sell seven other products (with more being added all the time!) and are stocked in almost 50 stores across the country.
