Who we are
Durham Parent is a monthly newsmagazine produced by Dynamic Publishing, a division of Metroland Durham Region Media Group. This website is our online component. As a leader in community-centred publishing, our mission is to provide useful and relevant articles, informative and entertaining columns, extensive consumer information and timely events for families with children. Durham Parent features editorial pertaining to health, events, books, nutrition, discipline, education and much more.

Who we reach
Durham Region is one of Ontario’s fastest growing communities, with more than 70,160* households with children. Durham Parent reaches 65 per cent of those households with incomes of $71,274* or higher, where parents are between the ages of 25 and 54. Durham Parent readers have post-secondary education and fill a mix of executive, white and/or blue collar occupations. These families own their own home and are predominately English speaking. Durham Parent is distributed to 45,500 homes in the region — through direct home delivery — as well as 4,500 bulk drop locations including grocery stores, libraries, recreation centres, doctors’ and dentists’ offices.
